Want to try a yummy chicken roast recipe? Here it is, try this and you would be blown away by the superb taste of this chicken roast.

Ingredients
  

Marinating Chicken

  • 1 kg Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste

Cooking the chicken

  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil

Preparing the gravy

  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 big Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup Warm water

Instructions
 

Marinating Chicken

  • Put chicken and all the ingredients under the "marinating chicken" section
  • Spread the masala over the chicken pieces and marinate it for 30mts

Cooking the chicken

  • Pour oil in a pan placed on medium flame
  • Once the oil becomes hot, place the chicken pieces
  • Stir well
  • Close and cook while stirring intermittently
  • Cook for around 20mts until the chicken is cooked well
  • Let the gravy get completely absorbed
  • Then move the chicken to another bowl

Cooking the gravy

  • To the pan kept on medium flame, pour coconut oil
  • Once the oil is hot, put the mustard seeds, let it splutter
  • Put curry leaves
  • Put in the chopped onions and stir well
  • Once it has changed its color, drop the ginger garlic paste
  • Stir until well sauteed
  • Put the chopped green chilies
  • Once sauteed, drop the powders: chilli powder, Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Garam masala, and Salt
  • Stir everything until the raw smell of the masalas fade
  • Then put the chopped tomatoes
  • Stir until the tomatoes turn mushy
  • Add warm water to prevent the gravy from burning
  • Once the gravy starts boiling, drop the cooked chicken into the gravy
  • Stir and combine everything well
  • If you need extra heat, put two green chilies too
  • Add curry leaves and stir everything well
  • Close and cook for 5mts on low flame
